From just outside of Tampa, Florida, Abby is an actor, producer, and filmmaker currently living in New York City. She recently received her BFA in Theatre with a minor in producing from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.

Abby began her professional experience as an intern at Mother Films, working for CEO and founder Doris Casap. Under Casap, Abby learned the value of hard work and good stories.

In 2021, Abby was selected as one of eight multi-hyphenate artists to participate in the Nine Muses Entertainment Lab, mentored by Bryce Dallas Howard and Nia Farrell. It was during this lab that she wrote and directed her debut short, Adobo, where Abby starred opposite her mom, IRL.

Currently, Abby works as an assistant at William Morris and Endeavor Agency. When she isn’t in the office, you can find her producing independent film and TV projects and contributing to the Nine Muses Entertainment newsletter, THE MUSE. You might also know her as @approvedbyabbs, the reputable Instagram foodie account with the best New York City restaurant recommendations (currently at 120 followers).

Abby aims to be a pioneer as a businesswoman and artist. She is actively exploring perspective and culture through her work and how to curate empowering environments.

Abby is a loud and proud Filipina with the hopes of illuminating her festive, funny, and loyal culture through her art. She loves her family, Gilmore girls, Buffy, Tampa Bay Lightning, and is currently going through a Country music phase which should hopefully fade soon.

I believe Abby’s creative resourcefulness, storytelling ingenuity, and solution-oriented work ethic is an asset to every room she is in; her ability to guide and support a creative process from concept to execution in any role is a gift to those who work with them.
